Death Tome. In an anime-styled parody of Death Note, Lisa is cast as Light Yagami when she finds a book labeled "Death Tome". Inside, it says that if a person's name is written in the book, that person will die, but with the stipulation that every name must have a unique death; that cannot be repeated with another person's name written.
The Death Note adaptation by Netflix has a lot of things wrong but the biggest one is its preposterous attempt at compressing a big chunk of the story told by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata over 108 chapters in the manga (and 37 episodes in the critically-acclaimed anime) into a film running barely over 90 minutes.
There are two movies: Death Note and Death Note II: The Last Name. The first one covers the first half of the anime, and the second one covers the last half, but with some changes, of course. Here are the links to both movies.
A man gets shot offscreen. Another man chases a young man with a gun, which he fires in the air, but doesn't harm the young man. The gun wielding man get knocked out by a witness so the young man can escape. A young woman watches a horror movie where a character's eyes get gouged out, possibly a Saw-like movie.
